As a follow up to the “Warning to the Nation” the Good Lord again instructed His team on 14th July 2017 to call the nation together for a solemn national repentance. “Blow the trumpet and call the nation together to raise up A National Repentance unto me” says the Lord.
Referring the team back to His word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If My people who are called by MY name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”, the Most High God commanded; “ALL MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD BE INVITED FOR THIS NATIONAL REPENTANCE PROGRAMME”. The emphasis of the Lord is not only compelling but frightening to say the least.
SIGNS OF IMPENDING JUDGMENT IGNORED
The Lord alerted His team to inform the nation that He has shown the nation signs of coming judgment but they have all been ignored. “There appears to be no watchman on the walls of the nation to see the signs” says the Lord. Who is blind but My servant, or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as My dedicated one, or blind as the servant of the Lord?. He sees many things, but does not observe them; his ears are open, but he does not hear” – Isaiah 42:19-20.
Consequently, the nation sleeps and the people have no idea what is coming.
SIGN NO 1 – THE STADIUM DISASTER
On the 9th May, 2001, after a Hearts – Kotoko league match at the Accra Sports Stadium, disaster rocked the nation and about one hundred and twenty seven (127) able-bodied men were killed in the disaster.
Now listen to the spirit of the nation speak:- “………..we’ve a duty regardless of our status in the game not to do things that will bring the image of Ghana football into disrepute, things that will threaten or quench lives and destroy properties”.
“We shout the refrain ‘Never Again’ Never Again! Let’s show civility and good behavior at all league centers, let security personnel at match venues act professionally. Let’s punish football hooligans severely – that’s something we don’t seem to have done well in this country. Let’s keep in mind that never again should we allow such grave ill-fate to befall us ……………. Never Again should this happen!”
SIGN NO 2 – TWIN JUDGMENT OF WATER AND FIRE AT CIRCLE
On the 3rd June 2015, more than 90 people were killed in the twin judgment of fire and water.
Listen to the Spirit and voice of the nation: – This loss of life is catastrophic and almost unprecedented. A lot of people have lost their lives and I am lost for words. Rescue operations will continue until the weekend Sunday. On Monday, we will observe three days of national mourning for the victims of the fire disaster and flooding. Precautionary measures needed to be taken against flooding that hits the city every year”.
SIGN NO 3 – ARMYWORM INVASION OF FARMS
The first worm invasion was reported in the Sefwi District in 2016. In 2017, armyworms are on the rampage in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, and Eastern Parts of Western Regions apart from pockets of destruction in the other regions of Ghana. It is roughly estimated that about 24000 hectares of maize and other crops have been destroyed.
In all these, while the farmers complained that the chemicals they were supplied with were not killing the worms, the Ministry of Agriculture would come out strongly: – “The Ministry is in control of the situation”. Thank God He has caused the release of a terrible West Wind to blow the worms away – Exodus 10:19.
What is the difference between the spirit of the nation Ghana in reaction to the 3 signs above and the “defiant and arrogant” stand of the nation Israel which led to her destruction?
THE PATTERN
“The Lord has sent a word against Jacob and it will fall on Israel; and all the people will know Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and in arrogance of heart. “The bricks have fallen, but we will build with dressed stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place”. But the Lord raises the adversaries of Rezin against him and stirs up his enemies. The Syrians on the east and the Philistines on the west devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still”- Isaiah 9:8-12.
The hand of the Lord is still stretch-out. All He wants is a gathering of those who sincerely believe that they are called by His name to lift repentance for the sins of the nation. It is a test of unity of the church and the love that the church has for the nation. The Good Lord would not allow the nation to repent at her convenience but at His acceptable date, place and time.
THE ACCEPTABLE DATE, PLACE AND TIME OF THE LORD
You are to hold the Solemn Repentance sessions at two places: North and South as follows:-

Accra 8th October, 2017 9:00 am – 12 noon
It is instructive to know that both days fall on Sunday. The Spirit of God who wills to inspire every aspect of the Local church service is declaring to ALL Churches in the Northern Sector who will not be at the Repentance service in Tamale to observe a Repentance service on Sunday 1st October 2017 from 9:00 am – 12 noon.
Also All churches in the Southern Sector are to observe a Solemn Repentance Service on Sunday, 8th October, 2017.
No other worship would be pleasing unto the Most High God on that day.
