GOD’S CALL TO ALL BELIEVERS FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2019 as received by the team God’s mandate on the 30^th April 2019 is “WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER.”

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Romans 13:11-12

The need for believers to wake up from their slumber is further buttressed by Revelations 3:2 “Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die for I have not found your works perfect before God”

By this call believers are commanded to be alert.

“Watch and pray lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak” – Matthew 26:41

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:1 Peter 5:8

These scriptures set the tone for the following PRAYER

a. LACK OF WATCHFULNESS

1. Pray against being a blind watchman, that is spiritual blindness – Isaiah 56:10

2. Pray against being an ignorant watchman of God. call for knowledge

3. Pray against the spirit being a dumb dog who cannot bark even with the word of God on your lips

4. Pray and drive away too much sleep and slumbering – Proverbs 6:10

5. Pray for the grace to be ever ready since you do not know the hour that the son of man is coming. Matthew 24:42

6. Ask for the grace to be watchful in the evening, at the crowing of the rooster and in the morning lest coming suddenly the master may come to find you sleeping – Mark 13:35-36

B – AGAINST SPIRITUAL DULLNESS

1. Pray and declare that what was said by Prophet Isaiah and quoted by Apostle Paul in Acts 28:26-27 saying “Hearing you will hear and shall not understand; and seeing you will see and not perceive; for the hearts of the people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so, that I should heal them” shall not be your portion
2. Declare that hearing you will hear and understand
3. Declare that seeing you will see and perceive
4. Call the fire of God to burn in your heart and link your heart to the golden alter in Heaven
5. Declare your spiritual eyes open and call for the ears of Samuel to hear from the Lord
6. Declare that you have received the spirit of understanding with your heart and turn around to receive the healing of the Lord
